Cal is 65 and 10 years past his prime. He rode the coattails of one and done guys the entire time at UK. All of those guys would have been one and done if they went to Toledo. It was a gimmick that ran its course.

Some of the most unrealistic and incredible basketball was played then. All around great. What people or kids today don’t realize is that TOUGH DEFENSE makes the offense try harder and be more creative to get around the defense. That’s why the 80’s and 90’s were some of the most intense games. Dam time flies. Miss it maaaan🙏🏼❤️😔

Speaking from a UK fan who has wanted Cal gone since 2017, and is extremely happy with the change, I am glad that AK fans are happy as well. I think this is a win/win for everyone involved. Cal is at a place he’s wanted, the AK fans have a coach they want. On the flip side UK fans are glad he is gone, and super excited for a new era; and their new administration is conducting their business in a way, that the fan base has been wanting it done for awhile. I for one am happy for everyone involved, can AK fans be the same towards us? Y’all keep trying to bash UK for wanting Cal gone in the comment sections of videos. If you’re happy about the hire, then you should be grateful, because if Cal was still wanted in Lexington, you would have never gotten him. Just as we are grateful for AK. If you guys hadn’t wanted him, we would still be stuck with him because of his buyout. I believe he will succeed at AK and I wish you the best of luck, except when you play UK.

NY was excited and fired up for the first time in years; there was no pre Madonna type attitude, or excuses. New York was proud for a moment; then melo came back, slowed down the tempo, isolated everybody’s ability to contribute, and playoff chances went down the toilet with his bullshit ass attitude. Just a bloody ass curse.

Knicks management completely flubbed this squad. They literally had a championship caliber team here and pissed it away. They literally could have run Melo and Amare for the first quarter and half the second. Then sent in Lin and Bibby to carry till the fourth. Then put a fresh Melo and Amare back on the court while the other teams are gassed.
